Bosch Automotive Service Solutions Division is currently seeking a Sales Engineer to work at our GLE facility in Bridgeport, MI. GLE is a global leader in tungsten carbide machining, ceramic machining, and other hard exotic materials machined to customer specifications.
Your Responsibilities
In this role you will develop and recommend Market and Customer Sales Strategies for this facility. Additional core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaboratively work with GLE leadership on business direction and objectives.
Conduct evaluation of customer potential and develop strategic plan to achieve complete penetration of multiple product lines with customer.
Provide technical service to customers in regards to application and use of carbide and exotic materials.
Regularly visit customers to develop positive relationships with key contacts at account site(s). Network within customer organization.
Prepare and present proposals and quotes to decision-makers at customer.
Act as GLE's primary liaison for customer information and coordination with Manufacturing.
Demonstrate technical proficiency with significant product knowledge.
Your competencies and qualifications
Bachelor's degree is required, Engineering Degree preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Minimum 1 - 3 years' relevant work experience in sales or engineering required; commercial application experience is preferred
Previous experience with specialized precision grinding and carbide is preferred
Knowledge of sales and customer account management is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong partnerships
Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite; CAD and ERP experience is a plus (Jobboss)
Ability to travel up to 10%
